Wii Gun Games
Wii games are fun but Wii gun games are more fun for the trigger happy. A favorite of Wii gun games enthusiasts is “Resident Evil: The Dark side Chronicles”. This game is a sequel to the zapper game “Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles”. The only thing that turns off gamers from the Dark side is the shaky camera perspective but the game play is quite amazing. With a lengthy plot, the trigger happy will have a very good time with this game. This is a first-person shooter game so for those who like Wii gun games this way, this is your ultimate choice.
For those who are not into Resident Evil, “The House of the Dead: Overkill” will fill the spot. You will be playing as Special Agent G who investigates mysterious disappearances in a Louisiana town. The plot of this Wii gun game is very exciting and the graphics should win an award. There is a lot of grime in this game making it more interesting. You should beware of the mutant clowns though because they can be a bit scary.
Boys and girls fond of Wii gun games should also try “Nerf N-Strike” and “The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return”. This is an older story for “The House of the Dead” but a fun one still. The voice acting could be a little annoying though along with its inconsistent frame rate but it is a good enough game to keep you glued on your Wii.
“Link’s Crossbow Training” is a good Wii gun game as well. In addition, if you like “Link’s Crossbow Training” you will also like “Ghost Squad”. Ghost Squad however is an arcade type of game that might not appeal to those who are into real vivid graphics. The game however has a self-effacing charm like no other, making it more attractive that ever.
All of these games will play just fine using the standard stand-alone Wii remote. However, they are all more fun to play with add-on Wii accessories like any of the Wii gun accessories. The gun accessories allow you to plug the Wii remote into the gun-shaped accessory for a more realistic look and feel while you are playing any of the shootings games. I happen to own the Wii Zapper, but there are at least 10 different gun accessories for the Wii to choose from. Whatever feels best in your hand!
