Wii-mote Touch Charge Station
The Touch Charge wireless charging kit is made in versions for use with such game controllers as the Wii remote—Wii-mote is an unofficial nickname for the device—and controllers for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (PS3). The usual price for the Wii version is $60; this is higher than the PS3 version (as is the Xbox 360 version, which is $70) because the kit is actually a battery you can use instead of the defaults.
The Touch Charge includes a magnetic charging pad on which you put the entire Wii remote, and a small built-in LED light stops flashing when the charge is complete. The pad is approximately half the size of an average mouse pad, features magnetic charging strips, and forces the remote to stay in place until the charge is finished.
Reviewers initially praised the Touch Charge kits for convenience and for relatively shorter charging times (four hours or less for a Wii remote), but question whether it makes sense to pay extra for a wireless charger unless a player has other devices compatible to the Wildcharge system. Some reviewers also complained that the size of the pad makes it impossible to charge more than two or three controllers at once.
Users have found it a mixed bag likewise since the product first appeared in 2008. Complaints on Amazon.com’s review pages ran rampant between the unit’s basic failure to operate properly and complaints that it actually melted the remote devices. Other complaints included that the Wii and other remotes would be “very warm” even when taken off the charger within reasonable time, whether or not the battery actually did melt.
Psyclone includes a lengthy warning against leaving remote controllers on the pad unattended for long periods—this applied to the Wii and the Xbox and PS3 versions—but some users actually found fault with the warning, asking why the company did not simply recall and remake the Touch Charge.

Wii Gun Games
Wii games are fun but Wii gun games are more fun for the trigger happy. A favorite of Wii gun games enthusiasts is “Resident Evil: The Dark side Chronicles”. This game is a sequel to the zapper game “Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles”. The only thing that turns off gamers from the Dark side is the shaky camera perspective but the game play is quite amazing. With a lengthy plot, the trigger happy will have a very good time with this game. This is a first-person shooter game so for those who like Wii gun games this way, this is your ultimate choice.
For those who are not into Resident Evil, “The House of the Dead: Overkill” will fill the spot. You will be playing as Special Agent G who investigates mysterious disappearances in a Louisiana town. The plot of this Wii gun game is very exciting and the graphics should win an award. There is a lot of grime in this game making it more interesting. You should beware of the mutant clowns though because they can be a bit scary.
Boys and girls fond of Wii gun games should also try “Nerf N-Strike” and “The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return”. This is an older story for “The House of the Dead” but a fun one still. The voice acting could be a little annoying though along with its inconsistent frame rate but it is a good enough game to keep you glued on your Wii.
“Link’s Crossbow Training” is a good Wii gun game as well. In addition, if you like “Link’s Crossbow Training” you will also like “Ghost Squad”. Ghost Squad however is an arcade type of game that might not appeal to those who are into real vivid graphics. The game however has a self-effacing charm like no other, making it more attractive that ever.
All of these games will play just fine using the standard stand-alone Wii remote. However, they are all more fun to play with add-on Wii accessories like any of the Wii gun accessories. The gun accessories allow you to plug the Wii remote into the gun-shaped accessory for a more realistic look and feel while you are playing any of the shootings games. I happen to own the Wii Zapper, but there are at least 10 different gun accessories for the Wii to choose from. Whatever feels best in your hand!
